Cost: $28 per child (duration 2hrs)

Operate each afternoon during Queensland and New South Wales public school holidays.

This is an education activity for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years. It involves a 2-hour session with a guide conducting indoor and outdoor education activities with a focus on conservation of our beautiful Great Barrier Reef.

Not only do the Reef Rangers enjoy fun, exciting and educational activities, it’s also a good chance for them to meet and share their holiday with other youngsters on the Island!

Cost: $70per hour (max 2 children) 

Babysitting is available for children aged 2 to 12 years, subject to staff availability. Please see Reception to book babysitters; a minimum 24 hours’ notice is required. Reception staff will arrange babysitting details, including pick up point, date of sitting, duration etc, and will fill out a babysitting roster with appropriate details.

A shaded children’s playground with slides and climbing equipment is situated adjacent to the Reef Education Centre.
