Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort offers a range of comfortable accommodation options, with each Unit, Tent and Cabin designed to minimise impact on the Island while enriching the overall guest experience of the environment and seasonal wildlife. In keeping with the natural, eco-friendly practices there are no telephones, television, radios or Wi-Fi available in the rooms. Limited Wi-fi available in the restaurant.

Overnight Rate includes:

The Environmental Management Charge (EMC) is a fee paid by all visitors to the Great Barrier Reef. All funds collected are used for the day-to-day management and conservation of the reef. For bookings from the 1 April 2024 a fee of $8.00 per person per day for up to 3 days (four years and older) will be added to your booking total balance. The maximum amount charged is $24.00 per person. All funds received as Environmental Management Charge payments are collected on behalf of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority. Eco Cabins

Sleeps four (13 Cabins)

Situated within 20 to 30 meters walk from the Lagoon, our newly upgraded Eco Cabins have solid walls, louvres for maximum air flow, a large front glass sliding door and shared bathroom facilities. The Eco Cabins sleep up to 4 adults and the Eco Family Cabin (1 only) sleeps up to 5 adults. Lighting and power points are available in every cabin as well as a ceiling fan. The deck is furnished with two chairs for added relaxation.

Garden Units & Accessibility Rooms 

Sleeps two or four (9 Units)

Situated within 20 to 30 meters walk from the Lagoon, the Garden Units are arranged in blocks of three and are ideal for couples or families, offering either a queen bed or a combination of a queen and bunk-style beds. Each unit features polished timber floors, ensuite bathrooms and a balcony set amongst the resort gardens to make the most of the resort views. The units are fan cooled and have a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

Three (3) of the nine (9) Garden Units have been designed as accessibility rooms to cater to the specialised needs of wheelchair users or guests with mobility issues. With an access ramp and larger bathrooms featuring wheel-in showers and handrails. Reef Units

Sleeps two or four (15 Units)

Located approximately 10 meters from the beautiful coral cay Lagoon, the Reef Units are the closest resort rooms to the Beachfront Dining Room. Arranged in blocks of three, they are ideal for couples or families, offering either a queen bed or a combination of a queen and bunk-style beds. Each unit features polished timber floors, ensuite bathrooms and a balcony to make the most of the island surrounds. The units are fan cooled and have a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

Glamping Tents

Sleeps two adults (2 tents)

Only meters from the Lagoon, immerse yourself in our exclusive and spacious Glamping Tents set amongst our native coral cay vegetation. Glass sliding doors open up to a large deck where you can enjoy the surrounding environment including nesting seabirds (in season) and nesting turtles (in season). The Glamping Tents accommodate up to two adults (queen bed) and are ideal for couples with an ensuite and private balcony. Each tent is fan cooled with a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.

Two Bedroom Beachfront Units

Sleeps four (5 Units)

Offering absolute beach frontage, the spacious two-bedroom Beachfront Units accommodate up to four people and feature a separate air-conditioned lounge room and private bathroom. The two-bedroom Beachfront Units have a private balcony surrounded by the island’s native flora. Each unit has a mini-fridge and tea and coffee facilities. In season, Red-tailed Tropicbirds and Green and Loggerhead turtles nest (at your doorstep) providing an immersive nature-based experience.

    Guests have a choice of four (4) housekeeping services. Rooms will be serviced daily between 09:00am-03:00pm.

    In our Reef Units, Glamping Tents and 2 bedroom Beachfront Units guests are provided with 300ml pump shampoo/condition and soap bars from the Natural Earth amenities range. The Natural Earth range is made from recycled packaging combined with salon grade formulations containing Active Manuka Honey. Their environmentally conscious range is sourced from New Zealand and is vegan friendly. All other room types are fitted with GOJO green certified hair and body wash.
