Resort Upgrades

This month our team embark on our most significant project yet! We’ve kicked off the renovation of our restaurant, dining room, bar & café, with a vision to completely transform our space to harmonise with the natural beauty of the island. Over the next few weeks, get ready to witness this transformation. With sustainability at the heart of everything we do, eco-friendly building materials and products have been intertwined throughout the design. Fans of the ‘Thisbe’ shipwreck legacy will be thrilled to see it repurposed into unique features of the project, adding a touch of history and charm. This project is a testament to our teams’ dedication and creativity and we’re fortunate to have a group of skilled contractors guiding us every step of the way. The grand reveal is set for early June, and we can hardly contain our excitement to share our revitalised space with you! 20 Years Supporting Student Education! 

Did you know that Lady Elliot Island has been supporting student education for 20 years! The University of Georgia, Discover Abroad Programs have been visiting Lady Elliot Island with educational groups since 2004. We thank Michael, Mikell, Dave, Tyronne and the UGA Discover Abroad team for their continued support of Lady Elliot Island and their infectious passion for education and reef protection.
